During my academic and professional career I have been involved in a wide range of projects, from creating online education courses about systems thinking and sustainability, to developing Living Business Models for new ventures. In 2013 I graduated with a bachelor in Sociology and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin, after which I decided to explore a more technical direction by enrolling in the European Masters in System Dynamics. This was a formative experience that opened my mind to the power of operational thinking. It also made me realise that the language used around systems thinking and system dynamics is often unnecessarily complicated. As such, one of my core goals at Loops is to help citizens, businesses and government policy makers engage with system dynamics in a way that is easy to understand, and which is always focused on achieving tangible and fruitful results.
